Adding a module

A scaffolded site starts with two modules: ROOT (the landing page only) and main (everything else). Add a module when a section of the site earns its own switchable navigation, rather than living grouped inside main.

1. Create the module’s tree

docs/src/modules/<name>/
  nav.adoc
  pages/

2. List it in docs/src/antora.yml

Add its nav.adoc alongside `main’s own entry — never remove `main’s:

nav:
  - modules/main/nav.adoc
  - modules/<name>/nav.adoc

3. Describe it under nav_modules

A list, not a map — see Antora Descriptor for why a map silently breaks a hyphenated module slug:

nav_modules:
  - module: main
    title: Documentation
    description: The core product story.
    icon: grid-3x3
  - module: <name>
    title: <Title>
description: One-line description of this module.
    icon: <name>

Once a second entry exists, the UI’s module switcher appears automatically — with just one module, there’s nothing to switch between.

icon is a bare icon name from the UI bundle’s own vendored sprite (Lucide’s own naming, not a free-form name) — see Icon gallery for every icon this site’s UI bundle ships.
