docouture is an Nx/https://pnpm.io[pnpm] monorepo. What a scaffolded site actually depends on is a small slice of it — the rest is how docouture itself is built.

Internal workspace tooling (release bumps, changelog checks, a local snapshot registry) — not something a scaffolded site ever depends on. |
What a scaffolded site actually contains
docouture new writes into the target repository, not into this one:
docs/
antora-playbook.yml real build (main + stable/version tags)
antora-playbook.local.yml HEAD-only build, used by `docouture dev` and PR checks
package.json devDependencies: the CLI, ui-bundle, both extension
packages, the gh-pages publish driver, antora itself
src/
antora.yml component descriptor: name, title, version, nav
modules/
ROOT/pages/index.adoc the landing page only
main/nav.adoc the navigation tree
main/pages/*.adoc every other page
.github/workflows/docouture-*.yml PR verification, prerelease/release publish, release cutting
AGENTS.md docouture's own managed section, merged into whatever
was already there
This site you’re reading is exactly that shape — see it directly at
docs/ on main.
