The gate passes severity-weighted scores from blocking findings to one score aggregator. Aggregators generally return a value in the 0.0–1.0 range, which the gate compares with threshold. MaxWithBonusScoreAggregator caps its result at 1.0 but does not clamp below zero, so configuring a negative bonus can produce a negative result. Findings with other actions remain in the result but are not passed to an aggregator.
Configure exactly one aggregator:

score_aggregator: cerbia.core.score_aggregators.MaxScoreAggregator
| Aggregator | Best for | Behavior |
|---|---|---|
A single severe signal should dominate. |
Returns the highest score. |
|
Independent signals should raise confidence. |
Adds a configurable bonus for every score after the first. |
|
Average evidence should drive the verdict. |
Returns the arithmetic mean. |
All three return 0.0 for an empty input list.
