cerbia.core.loaders.FileLoader reads individual files and directory trees into
entries. Use it to scan repositories, configuration directories, and other
local text collections.
Parameters
| Parameter | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
|
required |
One path or a list of file and directory paths. |
|
|
Optional list of suffixes to include, such as |
|
|
Whether directory paths are traversed recursively. |
A single path becomes a one-item list. A direct file is loaded only if its
suffix passes the optional extension filter. Directory paths use */ when
recursive is true and * otherwise. CerbIA sorts discovered files before
loading them.
Files are read as UTF-8 with replacement decoding. Invalid byte sequences become
replacement characters instead of causing a decoding failure. Each output entry
uses the file’s resolved absolute path as its source.
Missing paths produce no entries and do not raise an error. A direct file whose
suffix does not match also produces no entry, with a warning logged; a directory
with no matching files produces no entries. This behavior matters when the CLI
uses --file: an empty result set is safe by definition.
